Big thanks to Belinda Nation for getting us hooked up with the Lumberton Chamber of Commerce and some work our group could do at the Village Creek Festival. Today we spent about 5 hours working for the Festival by collecting money for parking. It was simple work that got us started on our journey to host the youth rally – but even better, about 15 of us got to hang out all day in the beautiful weather cutting up in front of the whole town. We appreciate all who came out to the Festival (which was also a great time), and all who worked with us. Hopefully we’ll see you next year.
